What is Edum?

Edum is a modern School Management System delivered as a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Schools can create an account, subscribe to a plan, and use Edum to manage their academic operations from a centralized platform.

One Platform for Your School

Edum brings academic management, student records, examinations, results, attendance and billing together in one place.

Core Areas of Edum

Academics

Manage academic years, classes, sections, departments, categories, shifts, subjects, syllabuses and class routines.

Students

Manage admissions, student profiles, documents, bulk imports and student promotion.

Examinations & Results

Set up examinations, configure grading systems, enter marks, generate and publish results, reports and transcripts.

Attendance

Record daily attendance and monitor attendance information through reports and analytics.

Billing & Subscription

Manage subscription plans, payments, invoices and subscription renewals through supported payment gateways.

Roles and Responsibilities

Edum uses role-based access control. The features and menu items available to you depend on your assigned role.

Role Purpose Key Areas
School Owner Owns and manages one or more schools. School profile, billing and subscription, plan upgrades, academics, students, bulk import, student promotion, teachers, examinations, custom fields, school settings and modules.
Student Accesses the student portal. View personal results, routines, syllabus, attendance and transcripts. Students can also edit permitted profile information.

Role-based access: Every user is authenticated through login, and access to platform areas is enforced according to the user's role. You will only see features that your account is permitted to access.

General Tips

Refresh after updates

If a page appears outdated after an update, perform a hard refresh using Ctrl + F5.

Access restrictions

If you see an "Unauthorized" or "No access" message, your current role may not have permission to access that area.

Deleted records

Deleted records are normally moved to Trash rather than being immediately removed permanently.

Restore records

When available, use Restore to recover deleted records or Empty Trash to permanently remove them.
